Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-09
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sudomimus (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply whether you use Sudomimus as an individual signing into applications or as a developer or organization integrating the Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Sudomimus provides authentication and authorization infrastructure that integrating applications can use to verify the identity of their users. The Service includes web endpoints, client libraries, and a hosted authentication user interface. It also includes a developer and organization platform where you can create an organization, register applications, configure how users may sign in, adopt email domains, and connect enterprise identity providers.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for the security of the authentication credentials associated with your account, including any passkeys registered on your devices. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access. You may not share an individual account with others.
4. Developer and Organization Terms
If you register an application or create an organization, you are responsible for how that application and its members use the identity information they receive through Sudomimus. You must request only the identity claims your application genuinely needs, use them solely for the purpose disclosed to your users, and stop relying on any claim a user has revoked.
When you adopt an email domain or configure organization-managed sign-in, you represent that you are authorized to administer that domain and its users on behalf of the organization. You are responsible for the configuration of any enterprise identity provider or sign-in policy you connect, including the effect those policies have on the people who sign in with addresses on that domain.
Access within an organization is governed by member roles. You are responsible for managing your organization's members and the access you grant them.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except to the extent permitted by law; resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission; request user identity claims under false pretenses or use them for a purpose you have not disclosed to those users; or use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
6. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not commit to a specific uptime or service-level agreement for free-tier usage. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
7. Intellectual Property
Sudomimus, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks or branding. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sudomimus and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account through the controls provided in the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or for prolonged inactivity. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, limitations of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sudomimus is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The specific governing law and venue will be finalised prior to public launch.
